Clos Pegase Visitor's Center
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment to visit Clos Pegase?
Appointments are not necessary to visit, however if you have a group of 6 guests or more, we require advance notice for tastings. For larger groups, please contact us at 707-942-4981 so that we may reserve our private tasting area in order to better accomodate your group.
Do you charge for tastings? What should we expect?
We offer different tasting options, all for a nominal fee, and the tasting flights vary by wine preference. We currently offer a tasting flight of four of our estate wines or a tasting flight of three of our reserve wines. We also have a Dessert Wine Tasting, in which our guests can sample of Late-Harvest Chardonnay and our Portico (Port wine). If you prefer to bring your own bite to eat, we do offer a picnic area which is available for use by Clos Pegase wine patrons. Tables are first-come, first-served and can be enjoyed for $5/person, however Wine Club Members are given preferential reservations and complimentary use of the picnic grounds.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 10:30am until 5:00pm, seven days a week. Please note, however that we are closed for the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
Are you dog/children friendly?
Yes, we are dog and family friendly.
Do you ship Clos Pegase wines direct?
Yes, you can see the states that we currently ship to by visiting our online store.
How should I store my wine?
Wine is a perishable product and must be handled carefully. Extreme temperature changes can damage your wines. We recommend storing your wine in a temperature controlled environment at approximatley 60 degrees. If traveling by car to the Napa Valley during the warm weather season, we recommend bringing a cooler for transportation.
